El hotel es un buen lugar para descansar después de todo un día de paseo por Oaxaca, su ubicación me pareció muy buena ya que está como 5-10 minutos del andador turístico, alrededor del hotel hay muchos lugares restaurantes, bares y tiendas de abarrotes, también entre las calles que está, pasan diferentes rutas del transporte público, ya que los taxis en ocasiones cobran muy caro (me percaté que su tarifa base es de 60 pesos para arriba). También cuenta con amenidades en su patio central, como bancas tipo reposet y hamacas, en las que puedes estar todo el tiempo que tu gustes, también tiene una cocina común en la que puedes preparar alimentos sencillos o guardar liquidos o algo en el refrigerador.
Un lugar tranquilo y cómodo para hospedarse, le falta un poco de mantenimiento pero solo en lo estético, funcionalmente está muy bien... El baño es pequeño pero tiene agua caliente y buena presión de agua, las camas son cómodas y cuenta con televisión (Netflix-Amazon), WiFi, acceso a cocina común, el personal es muy amable y atento. Esta relativamente cerca de todo el cuarto interesante del centro
Fui en época baja y no puedo quejarme esta en muy buen lugar, no hay ruido, cercanos de camiones, se duerme bien, muy limpio y el servicio tipo hostal es excelente, cocina que comparten con todo lo necesario para guisar o cocinar, mesas en el patio cómodas. Lo unico incomodo es lo pequeña que son la regaderas de cada habitación y el agua varía mucho de temperatura a cada rato , pero volveria a hospedarme ahi.
The Staff is so nice! Water for free... First room was not ideally but went up to the first floor. Thanks for the stay. Location is perfect!
Such a good option to stay in! Super central, safe to walk to the center by night in your own. I payed 400 pesos a night so around 20€ and I had a big room with 2 beds for myself. There’s a kitchen to use plus free water and coffee. The people are super nice, there’s a laundry service and it’s just very pretty. Definitely recommend it a lot!!!

La ubicación es muy buena, lugar céntrico y a unas cuadras del zócalo. Las empleadas del hotel son super atentas para todo, y el dueño también, siempre intentando ayudar. Súper recomendable!
Me encantó mi estancia en el Hotel Colonial. Su ubicación es excelente, la zona es muy tranquila y te hospedas prácticamente en el corazón de la ciudad de Oaxaca. La atención del personal es inigualable, estuvieron al tanto de nuestra llegada y al pendiente de cualquier necesidad que tuviéramos. Te hacen sentir como en casa. Sin duda el Hotel Colonial es mi lugar favorito para hospedarme en la ciudad de Oaxaca.
